Combine Dassault’s fighter jet prowess, its advanced research capabilities and its passion for innovation and the result is a breakthrough design and extraordinary capabilities.
The Falcon 7X will fly faster, further and higher than any Falcon we have ever built. Yet its agility and versatility will give you unequalled performance, both in the air and on the ground.
The seven defining features of the Falcon 7X are:
- High Speed and 5,950 nautical mile nonstop range.
- Uncompromising cabin comfort.
- Unprecedented value.
- Innovative wing design and controls.
- Unmatched relativity.
- Dassault’s signature three-engine design.
- Unbeatable versatility.
As you review the Falcon 7X information on this site, take note of how much capability has been designed into this airplane. Then compare it with any other corporate jet in the sky. Nothing else comes close.
The Falcon 7X is designed to fly, 5,950 nm with eight passengers, linking virtually all of the most desired city-pairs.
The Falcon 7X achieves its maximum range with a large payload-eight passenger, plus a crew of four (three pilots and a flight attendant). And because it has a Mach .90 Maximum Operating Speed (MMO), it will get you need to go faster, so you arrive fresher.
The Falcon 7X offers a widebody cabin as generous in width as the best selling Falcon 900EX, but substantially longer. Even with all that space, the airplane’s most welcome feature may be Dassault’s breakthrough environmental system. Unseen yet critical elements of comfort have been taken into account in the Falcon 7X.
These include “quieting acouistic,” advanced temperature monitoring that allows for thermal controls to hold a precise temperature throughout the cabin and in-flight “cabin altitude” of just 6,000 feet, 2,000 feet lower than today’s standard. Comfort, it turns out, is the weaving together of many elements, not the least of which is the custom-crafted interior furnishings you select and Dassault Falcon so meticulously installs.
As you’d expect from a Falcon, the 7X will out-perform competitive jets in challenging situations such as takeoffs from hot, high-altitude airports with impossibly short runways.
The Falcon 7X performs the widest possible variety of missions with ease. In the end, value is all about taking you where you want to go, when you want to go, under almost any conditions.

The Falcon 7X benefits from the intuitive EASy flight-deck technology developed for the Falcon 900EX and the Falcon 2000EX and incorporated into the Falcon 900DX and falcon 2000DX.
Designed in conjunction with Honeywell, the system displays information on four 14.1-inch, flat-panel screens. The EASy flight deck allows pilots to make “heads up” data entry using a cursor control device (CCD) and menu-driven selections. By limiting the time spent punching numbers into a flight management system, the chance for input errors is reduced.
The falcon 7X flight deck is the result of extensive input from pilots, aviation authorities and safety experts. It is designed to simplify flight management tasks, improve crew coordination and provide unsurpassed situational awareness all times.
Digital Flight Control System: generations of fighter experience benefit the Falcon 7X
The Falcon 7X will be the first business jet with a Digital Flight Control System; conferring a range of benefits, such as precise flight path control, automatic trim adjustment during configuration changes, and basic autopilot functions through the cockpit’s side-stick controller for setting heading and attitude.
Pilots will be able to extract maximum aircraft performance (maximum angle-of-attack, for example) in instances such as wind shear encounters or collisions avoidance maneuvers, without concern for overstressing the aircraft or stalling.

A proven, reliable powerplant with the latest technological advances.
Three Pratt & Whitney Canada PW307A engines power the new Falcon 7X. The PW307A will be flat rated at takeoff to 6,402 Ib thrust each at ISA+17C SLS takeoff each, to achieve new levels of performance and efficiency.
The engine has a design basis derived from the PW300 series engines already in rigorous use on airliners and other business jets. The PW300 engine family has accumulated more than 1.3 million flight hours, demonstrating an outstanding record for reliability and durability.
The PW307A engines for the Falcon 7X provide a new standard in cabin comfort for low noise and vibration due to product refinements. New fan technology provides a very low external noise signature, one that will meet stringent noise standards anticipated for the next two decades. The PW307A is also a low-emissions engine, significantly better than the FAA/EPA and ICAO standards.
The PW307A engines used by the Falcon 7X will not need overhaul for 7,200 flying hours or more than 14 years of typical operation.

The evolution of a revolutionary flight deck
First introduced on the Falcon 900EX, Dassault’s EASy flight deck raised industry standards for intuitive flying and situational awareness. Now the Falcon 2000LXS is equipped with EASy II, the next generation of this revolutionary cockpit. In the re-styled ‘front office’ of the Falcon 2000LXS, you will find the refinements that are a Falcon hallmark. The environment is clean and modern and the ergonomics enhanced for a higher level of comfort on long flights. The overall feeling is spacious and professional.
Falcon 2000LXS engines: rugged, reliable and environmentally responsible
Twin Pratt & Whitney Canada PW308C turbofans power the Falcon 2000LXS. These rugged, 7,000 lb thrust engines incorporate advanced technology for high durability, low emissions and low operating costs. Talon II ™ combustors reduce the PW308C’s NOx emissions by an additional 20%, outdistancing margins set by current Committee on Aviation Environment Protection (CAEP/6) regulations by 40%.
A lighter footprint
Falcon owners take a quiet pride in the fact that efficiency means more than just the best fuel economy. It also means enviably low carbon emissions. Now the Falcon 2000LXS goes even farther to save you money and shrink your footprint – especially when compared with its closest competitor, which burns 20% more fuel and emits 20% more greenhouse gas.
Introducing a new level of airport performance
The Falcon 2000LXS offers remarkable low-speed performance for airport capabilities and mission flexibility far beyond anything in its class. It takes off from shorter runways, climbs direct to 41,000 feet in just 19 minutes, and lands on shorter fields.
Unmatched flexibility and versatility
SAVE TIME AND SAVE MONEY
Fuel can be expensive ‘on the road.’ And stopping to fill the tanks wastes precious time. The 2000LXS lets you load up at home base (or wherever fuel is cheaper), make multiple short hops – and still have plenty of nonstop range for a longer trip, without refueling.
A 1,000 FOOT RUNWAY ADVANTAGE
New inboard slats dramatically enhance the airfield performance of the Falcon 2000LXS, making it that rare bird – a large cabin, 4,000 nm business jet cleared for the steep descent at London City Airport and many other challenging airports that are closer to your destination. Its short-field advantage is measurable. At MTOW, the 2000LXS needs 1,000 feet less runway than comparable aircraft.

Reach beyond
With 6,450 nm (11,945 km) range and outstanding short-field performance, the 8X links important city pairs nonstop and accesses 500 more airports in the U.S. alone than its competitors. Then there’s the superlative airfield performance of the Falcon 8X, which adds even more reach beyond other aircraft in its class.
Steep and strong, hot and high
Steep approach angles and strong climb-out gradients are no problem for the Falcon 8X. Nor are hot and high conditions. And it delivers superior range from both. It is the only ultra-long-range business jet that can use London City’s 3,934 foot (1,200 m) runway. And after takeoff, it can fly nonstop to Dubai or New York. Or departing Eagle, Colorado, an elevation above 6,500 ft (1,980 m), it can fly nonstop to Geneva, Switzerland.
The tri-jet advantage
Thanks to its three engines, which shorten transoceanic routes, the Falcon 8X flies you wherever you are going faster. They also contribute to the 8X’s slow and stable approach speed — a mere 106 knots (197 kph). And its three-engine performance margins allow takeoffs from shorter runways.
More Range After Short Hops
The Falcon 8X can land at 85% of its maximum landing weight. So you can fuel up at home base and make a short hop before flying a longer leg of more than 4,500 nm (8,334 km) without refueling. It’s a capability that can save you money on home-based fuel and also boost your mission flexibility.
Unbeatable economics
Falcon 8X direct operating costs are as much as 35% lower than those of competing jets. And thanks to its optimized airliner-type MSG-3 maintenance program, time between 8X major inspections is 800 hours or 12 months, giving you greater use of your airborne asset.
Technology
Not just bigger, better
When designing the Falcon 8X, Dassault rethought all major structures and systems, adapting and optimizing them into an integrated, efficient airframe. New internal wing architecture both lightens the wing structure and provides more room for fuel. New winglets reduce drag to boost efficiency. The fuselage houses more fuel without reducing passenger space. Landing gear has been reinforced to provide for additional payload.
A visionary flight deck
Totally redesigned, the Falcon 8X cockpit will feature a new generation of EASy flight deck and offer an optional wide-screen head-up display, integrating enhanced and synthetic vision for vastly improved situational awareness in low-visibility conditions. It will also feature Honeywell’s next-generation 3D color weather radar system with enhanced turbulence detection capability.
PW307D engines: more thrust with less fuel
At 6,722 pounds (29.9 kN), these enhanced Pratt & Whitney Canada turbofans deliver 5% more thrust, yet they also lower fuel consumption. Beyond delivering more pounds of thrust for each pound of fuel, they reduce NOx emissions 30% below today’s most stringent standards. The PW300 series has more than 12 million hours of proven, highly reliable operation.
More moving control surfaces
The 8X wing takes advantage of more moving control surfaces, including three leading edge slats, three airbrakes and two flaps. Dassault’s latest generation of digital flight control technology ensures smooth and precise flight path control and flight envelope protection.
Cabin
More cabin and more flexible cabin
This is our longest cabin. And every inch is used to advantage. With over 30 possible layouts, this is the industry’s most flexible cabin and the one most likely to offer an interior solution that meets your exacting requirements. Noise and cabin altitude are low. Air quality is high. And connectivity is complete in this Wi-Fi environment, which is equipped with our latest FalconCabin HD+ cabin management system.
Wherever you are, you have control
The FalconCabin HD+ cabin management system gives you control over your environment from anywhere in the cabin, using your Apple® devices. You can track flight progress. There’s even an app that lets you call up a virtual moving map of any area around you by simply pointing your iPad® in its direction. As an option, you can also get Skybox™, the wireless media server with vast iTunes video and music capacity.
Benefits you can feel
While current airliners and even some business jets have cabin altitudes of 6,000 to 8,000 feet, the Falcon 8X keeps you at a comfortable 3,900 while cruising at 40,000 feet. So you feel better on board — and less jet lag after arrival. Noise level is also low at a whisper-quiet 52 dB.
Long on comfort and choice
Three extra feet can accommodate a lot more living space. And how you use it is up to you. Opt for a very comfortable three-lounge cabin with a shower aft and crew rest provisions forward. Go shorter on the entryway to add even more lounge space. Or select a large entryway with spacious, lie-flat crew quarters and a truly grand galley for multiple meals. There are over 30 different cabin layouts from which to choose. Let your personal taste, your typical mission profile, and our design team be your guides.
Dassault Falcon has reinvented the private jet travel experience
It’s a bigger, more comfortable experience. A healthier experience. A more productive experience.
The biggest, most advanced Falcon yet
Consider these impressive facts and figures: a six-foot, six-inch cabin height, the tallest in business aviation; a wider cabin than previous Falcons; a top speed
of .90 Mach; a range of 10.186 nautical miles and the short-field capability of much smaller jets.
Yet all this performance and capability is achieved with the lowest fuel consumption in its category. The 6X is as much as 50 percent more efficient on short missions.
The State-of-the-Art Falcon 6X
The Falcon 6X has business aviation’s most advanced fly-by-wire system. The ultra-efficient P&WC engines extract maximum power from every precious pound of fuel. The cabin cradles you on twelve-hour flights and allows you to walk off feeling your very best.
The ultimate benefit: a big plane you can use efficiently for almost any mission, short or long.
The Falcon 6X is built to appeal to all your senses, not least your common sense.

Land slowly and safely
As seductive as high-speeds may be, part of the value of a Falcon is a wide speed envelope. As with previous Falcon generations, the wing of the 6X is optimized for both high- and low-speed performance. Leading edge slats and trailing edge flaps yield remarkably low takeoff and approach speeds. In fact, typical (Vref) approach speed for the 6X is 109 knots. That’s up to 20 knots slower than most jets with comparable range and near the approach speed of some short-field turboprops.
Low-speed capability equates to greater safety margins on takeoff and landing. It also opens up more airports — very often the ones that are most convenient for you. With a balanced field length of 5,250 feet, the 6X can use more airports than competitors. It can fly farther from them, especially the most challenging fields such as Aspen or London City. Even with a partial fuel load, you’ll be amazed at the small airports you can use, including those with runways of less than 4,000 feet.
Go fast, go far
The Falcon 6X has a maximum range of 10.186 nautical miles at its long-range cruise speed of Mach .80. Choose to fly at normal cruise of Mach .85 and still accomplish long, inter-continental missions with a range of 9,445 nautical miles. For coast-to-coast U.S. travel, or other trips of 3,000 nautical miles or more, you can fly even faster. Top speed is Mach .90.
Once you are up and away, you’ll want to fly fast. Fighter heritage means a fast, tough airplane, and like other Falcons, the 6X has no speed limitations in turbulence. Climb directly to 41,000 feet, which often helps Air Traffic Control provide more direct routings. During typical cruise altitudes of 43,000 to 47,000 on long range missions, you'll often be above the Jetstream in air that is usually silky smooth.
Advanced Digital Flight Control System
Like the 7X, the Digital Flight Control System (DFCS) in the 6X provides flight envelope protection to avoid inadvertently exceeding structural speed limits and stalls. Because of these protections, pilots can command maximum performance quickly and decisively without exceeding tolerances. Hazardous situations such as wind sheer, sudden traffic avoidance maneuvers and traffic pattern go-arounds become far easier and safer to manage.
Hand flying a Falcon equipped with a DFCS imposes a much smaller workload on the pilot. For example, the system automatically trims the aircraft; no pilot action is required. Non fly-by-wire aircraft, and even some aircraft with fly-by-wire, require frequent manual trim adjustment when hand flying, adding to pilot workload.
Every curve has a purpose
The Falcon 6X is the beautiful marriage of a wide-body cabin with an all-new, fast and ultra-efficient wing. The 6X wing has a moderately swept leading edge (33 degrees) and an innovative curved trailing edge. Its winglets are unique, designed to perfectly integrate with the wing. Constant and subtle wing contour changes control airflow at high speeds.
The result is the highest lift/drag ratio of any Falcon wing, a key for improving fuel efficiency. The 6X wing has high buffet margins at high altitude and high cruise speeds, improving speed and safety.
The flight deck - The pilot's office
Pilots of modern Falcons will quickly be at home on the 6X flight deck, with its intuitive EASy avionics architecture. The 6X will be equipped with 3rd generation EASy, a future derivative of Dassault's Award Winning avionics suite. The flight deck is bigger and more comfortable. Its design reflects input and requests from current Falcon operators — for example, increased automation to more rapidly power up and power down the aircraft.
Four large windows provide exceptional visibility, including wide-angle visibility to check wingtip clearance while taxiing. The glare shield is even shaped to give pilots an expanded field of view.
Crew seats are larger and more comfortable, with more legroom. Seats are easily aligned for a perfect visual perspective. Pilots of any size will feel they are sitting in the perfect position.
Your support network
The Falcon 6X establishes a new benchmark for on-board maintenance monitoring capability. Where previous Falcons have onboard diagnostics to monitor hundreds of parameters, the 6X system connects to all onboard computers and monitors approximately 10,000, all in real-time.
The 6X is the first Falcon to incorporate a real-time maintenance monitoring system, which constantly transmits maintenance status to Dassault Customer Service on the ground. Flight departments are immediately notified of an in-flight maintenance issue so that ground support can be put into motion quickly, even before the plane has landed. Moreover, this new data collection system permits fleet-wide trend analysis to further improve reliability.

A cabin built around your sense of wellbeing
The 6X cabin will redefine your air travel experience. You have more personal space to sit or stand. The spacious cabin is designed to provide areas for privacy and relaxation as well as common areas where teams can meet and confer. The cabin of the 6X will help you accomplish more.
Never feel crowded
A matter of inches makes a surprisingly large difference in your overall comfort. Absolute floor-to-ceiling height is simply the tallest in a purpose-built business jet — an unprecedented six-feet, six-inches. With a completed interior, six foot, four inch CEOs will stand tall and proud. And everyone aboard will appreciate the sense of added space.
The 102-inch-wide cross section – among the largest in business aviation – gives you more elbow room, more aisle space, a larger galley and deeper, more comfortable divans.
With so much space, the 6X cabin is, without a doubt, the most comfortable in the long-range segment.
There’s more to comfort than meets the eye
At a cruise altitude of 41,000 feet, cabin altitude in the 6X is just 3,900 feet – a much more comfortable environment for your body where you receive more oxygen. That’s one reason you feel so much better at the end of a long flight.
Dassault’s unique cabin air filtration and circulation system keeps you breathing easier, and getting more fresh air in your lungs. Cabin air is fully refreshed in as little as two to three minutes.

Three fuel efficient Honeywell TFE731-60 turbofan engines deliver 5000 Ib of thrust each (ISA+17C). The Falcon 900LX’s trijet configuration enhances safety and efficiency while delivering high performance under difficult conditions.
The Falcon 900LX offers a big cabin within an externally compact fuselage. The center engine virtually eliminates separation draft behind the tailcone. The smart trijet configuration places thrust closer to the centerline lowering the critical Vmcand consequently takeoff speed while the center engine reverse thrust can be used a complete stop on short runways. The computer designed, low-drag wing is equipped with leading-edge slats and double-slotted Fowler flaps, giving the jet ability to safely operate around small airports.
Our passion doesn’t end with your purchase. Like any strong family, we take care of own long after they’ve left home. Our engineers call it unconditional love. We call it comprehensive care.
Call it what you will, the Dassault Falcon Jet ten-year airframe warranty is one of the most comprehensive on any certificated aircraft in the industry.
